I am not sure my old heart can take a full season of this!  The Streaks kept us guessing until top of the 7th inning when Ellie Comerford cracked an RBI single into LF, scoring May Castillo who had singled earlier in the inning & stole 2nd base on a pass ball.  This was the only run of the entire game!

Our Lady Streaks played lights out defense!  Paige Hughes (3rd) played the hot corner accounting for 2 outs, catching a line drive in the 5th & fielding a tough grounder in the 7th.  Bella Stern (2nd) made a leaping catch on a line drive & threw out the runner @ 2nd for a double play in the 4th to end the inning with bases loaded.  And Sara Hess (C) threw out not 1, but 2 attempts to steal 2nd, one in the 1st & another in the 4th!  Every player involved on defense had a 1.000 Fielding Percentage!

The Streaks will be tough to score on playing defense like this!
