A Cold Day!

Old man Winter had one last blast of arctic air to chill us all to the bone.  It was cold in the bleachers, it was cold in the field, & it was cold at the plate.

The Northern Lebanon Vikings started off hot recording 3 hits & 3 batters reaching base on errors, putting the Lady Streaks in a 4-0 hole from which they never seemed to recover.

The Blue Streaks didn’t get their bats going or on the score board until the bottom of the 4th when Ashley Bryant (LF), who had singled earlier, scored from 3rd on a pop fly to LF.  Paige Hughes (3rd) lead off the 5th inning with a blast over the fence in right CF for a solo HR, but alas the deficit proved too much and the Streaks dropped this one 14-2 in 5 innings.

The Blue Streaks will look to warm their chilly bones by the fire place to be ready for another HOME game, Friday, March 28th when they take on the Barons from Manheim Central.
